Many of us have probably heard of the benefits of Delta-9 CBD. However, many people do not know how it is formulated and whether or not it is truly the best supplement for weight loss. We also may not know if CBD is truly the “cure” for our bodies’ dependence on processed, sugar laden, and high calorie foods.

What is delta 8 thc? The difference between Delta-9 and Delta-8, however, is subtle: Both contain psychoactive Cannabinoids, but Delta-8 has half the potency of Delta-9. So, many people say that Delta-8 tends to be a smoother, gentler experience without any paranoia than Delta-9. Others claim that CBD has no cannabidiol in it, at all, so it is not “curing” the body in any way.

Others still theorize that CBD does not have any cannabidiol in it because it is synthesized from other plant compounds. But, when taken in combination with other ingredients, CBD definitely has health benefits. Let’s take a closer look at the medical properties of Delta-8 THC and see if they hold up to the claims of those who believe CBD is the answer to our health problems.

Unlike many other Cannabinoids, Delta-8 contains two non-cannabinoid hemp essential oils. These oils, technically called CBD and THC are the reason why the plant is sometimes referred to as ” Hempcrete.” In addition to containing Cannabidiol, the two oils contain Terpenes which are similar in makeup to the natural chemicals found in marjoram and basil. Interestingly enough, hempcrete is actually a mineral that can be used in building materials, such as flooring and wall tiles. It has been successfully integrated into building products without causing any negative side effects.

While it is true that CBD is not an active ingredient in Delta-8 or any of the other Delta-8 THC blends, we did notice that some users seem to be more sensitive to THC than others. This could be due to the fact that CBD has less of an impact on the brain as compared to THC. If you think about it, this should make little sense.

After all, even if the presence of Cannabidiol is reduced, the concentration of THC is identical or greater. So, is it logical to assume that people who are sensitive to THC would be more negatively impacted by CBD? While this could be possible, we don’t think it is the case based on our experience with Delta-8 and CBD.

Based on our research, the most prevalent side effect associated with Delta-8 THC is occasional diarrhea. In rare cases, it can cause serious abdominal distress, severe flatulence, and nausea. In most cases, it is less likely to produce these symptoms and is very mild. In addition, it is important to note that we do not recommend using Delta-8 THC for fever or other serious symptoms of illness. The Delta-8 THC user must carefully consider the benefits vs. the side effects and potential hazards.

As a final note, we would like to mention that the Delta-8 THC products on the market come in several different strengths. For example, the highest strength of Delta 8 THC is available by prescription only. There are also lower strength products available from online distributors and manufacturers. Again, check with your pharmacist or health care provider for the highest recommended strength of Delta-8 THC for your individual needs.
